Controlling matrix converter in flywheel energy storage system using AFPM by processor-in-the-loop method

چکیده

Flywheel energy storage systems are considered as the grid integration of renewable sources due to their inherent advantages such fast response, long cycle life and flexibility in providing auxiliary services grid, frequency regulation, voltage support. The article focuses on design controller, then conducts processor-in-the-loop (PIL) simulation dynamics part using axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motor with matrix converter MATLAB/Simulink combined controller TMS32F28377S microcontroller card Texas Instruments evaluate efficiency system.
